Having been the former DZM and Director of Marketing at Skydive Carolina, James La Barrie was honored to be hired by Skydive Carolina to help the company move forward with its marketing objectives. The DropZone Marketing team created the fourth iteration of the Skydive Carolina website which launched in January of 2015. We currently work with Skydive Carolina consulting on best social media practices, event promotions and continuous site updates as needed.
This site is one of the largest we've ever built with more features currently under development. The events calendar has been designed for easy navigation as Skydive Carolina has so many events in multiple categories. The news and articles pages are updated regularly to help with SEO. Despite it's size, navigating throughout the site is easy for the end-user, and the responsive web design allows for seemless access on smartphones and tablets.
The Skydive Carolina logo was created in 2005 and its design was overseen by James La Barrie. Due to the multiple areas this logo would be used (apparel, road signs, hangar signs, stickers, aircraft decals and paint schemes) we elected to create three variations of the logo with the 'jumper' being the image that would tie the three together and ensure consistency with all branding initiatives.
We created the CarolinaFest logo in 2009 with the aim of creating an annual event worthy of its own brand. Again, we tied in the 'jumper' to ensure a visual tie with the Skydive Carolina branding scheme.
