In February of 2017, DropZone Marketing launched TonySuits' website.
While TonySuits was leading the way in jumpsuit design, their online presence was behind the curve. With a TonySuits website and a Tony Wingsuits site, our job was to create one site which would house all of Tony's product skus both with an e-commerce store for stock products, as well as a custom designer for every jumpsuit category Tony offers.
The makeup of the design was to center around four main components:
- a Wordpress blog to help generate valuable information about their products and increase site traffic
- an e-commerce store to sell stock products
- a custom designer program for all jumpsuit categories
- a platform to showcase the entire product line
The new TonySuits site is large and complex, but our mission was to ensure the Content Management System would allow complete autonomy for everyone at Tony to be able to make quick changes to the site. These changes include all text, photo and product edits.
We couldn't be more pleased with the end result of this design!
Custom Designer Program
One of the largest aspects of this design was programming a color picker / custom designer that would accommodate more than 20 product lines with variants in fabrics and color options. This was the largest and most time-consuming build out of the website.
The challenge of a website this size with multiple components was to ensure simplicity throughout the user experience. We utilized much white space and large, beautiful imagery to showcase the products. The custom designer had to be simple to use and the blog to allow for internal photo albums and ease of use.
