DZO, Tom Pecharich represents the majority of dropzone owner’s in the world – busy. Really busy! Tom owns a plane repair shop that has him maxed out… add the ownership of a DZ and you understand why his time is so limited. He needed help with his marketing, but couldn’t dedicate tons of time to it.
Tom made the call to us in 2016 needing a solution for his website woes. His website and branding felt 90s-esque and his site wasn’t optimized for mobile, the user experience was poor and he was losing market share because his marketing felt like an after-thought.
Additionally, Tom needed a team he could trust to just run with the project. Without an assistant that could be a project lead on his behalf, his instructions were essentially, “Make me a logo that represents the area (and would make me proud), and build me a website that’s easily found in Google… and GO!!!
It would be an exaggeration to say Tom didn’t have input in our work – we collaborated on his logo design and then went full-charge on the development of his website. One of Tom’s favorite aspects of working with us was knowing we’d get the details right because our team is comprised of skydivers or technical marketers who work on skydiving-related websites every day.
By the end of the project, Tom was super-happy with our work as it required minimal edits which allowed him to focus on his two businesses.
