DropZone Marketing launched in January of 2013… to think that some of the biggest and best brands in skydiving would be calling on us within three years of business – it’s sobering! We certainly felt this way when we got the call from Kirk Verner and John D’Annunzio of Paraclete XP – the largest indoor skydiving wind tunnel in the United States.
Our goal is to exceed the expectations of our clients and we sought out to do that with this project.
With the acquisition of Skydive Raeford (now Skydive Paraclete XP), the client wished for three separate websites (aviation, indoor skydiving, and skydiving) to maintain a consistent brand design that easily linked with each other.
To allow for this ease of navigation between the three properties, we designed a custom menu option in the upper right corner listed as ‘Indoor Skydiving’, ‘Skydiving’ and ‘Aviation.’
Paraclete XP hosts many events including the 2019 Indoor Skydiving Championships – it was important that we built in an option to create multiple home sliders allowing for the wind tunnel to highlight various events and promotions simultaneously.
Clean navigation is a standard requirement for both desktop and mobile. We put emphasis on understanding who primarily visits the website as well as ensuring that potential first-time flyers can easily find what they’re looking for – Paraclete XP offers multiple packages for different kinds of customers so it was very important that the menu structure be clean and easy to navigate.
